The Hotel at the University of Maryland got in touch with us and explained that they needed images to sell their meeting rooms, a few new images of updated guest rooms, as well as some shots of updated public spaces. We spent quite a bit of time over email helping them prepare for the photo shoot, and also on a long pre-production call with all of the team members involved with the photo shoot. That was a big help to all, but we followed that up with even more time on property the day before the shoot to get the tables lined up perfectly to camera in the meeting rooms. It was no small task with the square footage of these massive meeting spaces! On this photo shoot, we managed to produce a wonderful panorama of an L shaped ballroom by combining several images in post production—this was an image the sales team desperately needed to have a visual to show clients how the room could be combined and meeting attendees would still be able to see the front of the room, no matter where they sat in the room. We think you’ll agree that the updated public spaces pop with color and light, from the public bar to the private faculty club—it was a joy to workon this shoot with this amazing team!
