About Studio

We are a Hilton- and Hyatt-approved professional hotel and resort photography studio. We shoot regularly for the major hospitality companies as well as for independent hotels and resorts. We are comfortable working with any and all brand standards and will make sure that your images both pass muster with corporate and help you get heads in beds. Our studio offers a range of hotel photography and videography services including: architecture, food and beverage, exteriors, drone, lifestyle, virtual tours, masthead video, and social media. We are a photo studio, not a tech company, and we work exclusively with our in-house photographers and retoucher in order to maintain tight quality control and quick turnaround time. The team members you see below are the only folks you'll ever work with. We are based in Savannah, GA and Brooklyn, NY and are free to travel anywhere in the world.

Michelle Solomon

Studio
Manager

Michelle manages the day-to-day operations of our studio. She is very familiar with brand standards and will help you put together a complete shot list and photo shoot schedule to make the most efficient use of your time and money. She handles the marketing, contracts, and invoicing and can also hire stylists and models as needed. Michelle holds a BA from Yale University and a JD from New York University and used to work for NYC government until a colicky baby made a house in Savannah seem a lot more attractive than a tiny apartment in Brooklyn. Now an empty-nester, she uses her spare time to serve on local non-profit boards, play a lot of mah jongg, and generally make good trouble.

Valentin Sivyakov

High-End Retoucher / Photographic Designer

Valentin is an incredibly skilled photo retoucher as well as shooter and will make all of your images look perfect, whether it's smoothing out wrinkles from your linens, getting the ketchup to drip just right on your signature burger, or brightening up that cloudy sky that can be seen from the window of the Presidential Suite. Valentin holds a joint BFA in Photography and Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design but he's originally from Russia. He grew up in the town of Palekh in a family of Russian icon painters, whose skill with detailed brushwork goes back many generations. Valentin still creates his own meticulous artwork using pen and ink, paint, and digital tools.

Stevie

Security Consultant

Stevie maintains the security of the photo studio, alerting us to all passing dogs, cats, squirrels, and mail carriers. He also leads our in-house health and wellness program, insisting that the studio manager join him for daily walks. Though he spends most of his time in Savannah, Stevie is occasionally able to fill in as a field producer on select shoots at pet-friendly hotels. Special thanks to One Love Animal Rescue for helping the studio with this crucial hire.
